Specify the device type in gsmartcontrol

From raju

Short version

In gsmartcontrol, the device type can be specified by using

 Options -> Preferences -> Drives -> fill the "Device" and "Parameters" fields-> Add -> OK

For example,

 Device: /dev/sdf
 Parameters: -d sat

would be equivalent to adding "-d sat /dev/sdf" to the smartctl command.

Long version

I encountered the following errors when running smartctl

# smartctl -i /dev/sdf
smartctl 6.4 2014-10-07 r4002 [x86_64-linux-3.16.0-4-amd64] (local build)
Copyright (C) 2002-14, Bruce Allen, Christian Franke, www.smartmontools.org

/dev/sdf: Unknown USB bridge [0x152d:0x1561 (0x106)]
Please specify device type with the -d option.

Use smartctl -h to get a usage summary

But it works if the device type is explicitly set

# smartctl -d sat -i /dev/sdf
smartctl 6.4 2014-10-07 r4002 [x86_64-linux-3.16.0-4-amd64] (local build)

Now the goal is to make gsmartcontrol aware of the '-d sat' option for the /dev/sdf device. I was able to achieve this by doing

 Options -> Preferences -> Drives
 Device: /dev/sdf
 Parameters: -d sat
 Add -> Ok
